Randomness again

I just can't get it together enough to have a daily blog entry these days; therefore, I shall continue my weekly roundups until I get back on track again.

This week started off to be a bad one. My dad had a positive stress test a couple of weeks ago and Monday was his follow up. The doctor reviewed his stress test and told my dad that he believed that he had suffered a heart attack and that he had additional blockage. He scheduled my dad for a heart cath the very next morning. I did not handle this well. I broke down the minute I got the news. So, on Tuesday dad had the heart cath and my God's miracle, the test came back completely clear. The stress test had been a false positive. Who has ever heard of this happening? Not me. I was so very thankful and so was my dad.

The rest of the week was pretty okay other than it is colder than a witches bust (for lack of a better word).

I cleaned house all day Friday and Robert did my weekly Walmart trip for me on his way home from work. I was very thankful for that.

Saturday, I scrapbooked with Alexus after we visited with my little cousin baby Claire. I spent most of my time organizing my supplies. I had them pretty organized already, but needed to do a little housecleaning. I got three pages done, not much progress when you consider that I'm two years behind on both of my kids :(

Tomorrow we plan to take the kids to see "Mall Cop" at the theater. I'm hoping it will be fun.

Monday the kids and Robert are off, but I have to work. This sucks, but oh well. I'm looking forward to all of the Presidential Inauguration media coverage that is to come in the upcoming week. Not joking at all, I seriously am looking forward to it. I'm sure this does not surprise you at all.

So glad your Dad is okay. And I think that a weekly post is quite a goal. (Considering that my blog hasn't been updated in almost a month!) We're cold here too. Can I just put in my official vote? I HATE WINTER!! When it gets warm there, we need to come visit again!

Glad to hear your dad is fine. Girl, there's nothing worse than the rock of your life being down! Oh and happy inauguration day!
