Commercial or Something Like That

So, I am annoyed for two reasons. The first being that my daughter is sick again!! I had to take her to the dr. yesterday and she has blisters all in her throat. I've decided that I'm going to bleach everything in my house tomorrow :) Should smell nice. So, when I realized that I was going to have to take her to the doctor, I sent my boss an email (which goes straight to his blackberry) telling him that I would be late because she was sick. I ended the email with "I swear I taught my kids to was their hands when they were little". He responded "they get germs from other people who do not wash their hands. Do you wash your hands?" I did not respond, he's a little annoying clog, but it was a funny comeback.
The second reason that I am annoyed is that I cannot find the commercial that I want to share wi h you guys. So, you are just going to have to keep your eyes open and see it on t.v. for yourself. It's not really a funny, but the story I have to go along with it is. The commerical is a McDonald's commercial where the big brother (little boy) has a new baby in the house and he's feeling a little left out. I think the little boy's name is Leo and his mom takes him to McDonald's for some special time. The little boy is wearing an orange and khaki striped shirt. Here comes the story. Cooper used to have this exact same shirt when he was 2. For those of you who don't know, my husband and I seperated when Cooper was 2. I guess that God knew I needed some laughter. One day I was going to Walmart, but first I was going to run in the mall and check out cameras at Sears. It was a nice May day and Cooper asked me to roll down his window so I did. He was safely strapped in his car seat so I had no worries and the best part was that he didn't make a peep from the back seat the entire time. I pulled into Sears and got out of the car, walked around to get Cooper out of the back seat and opened the door. There I found my child naked with his diaper undone. No shirt, no shorts, no shoes. I begin to search the car floorboard and the back area and I can't find any of his clothes anywhere. I look under the car thinking that they might have fallen out when I opened the door. No. They were no where to be found. I finally figured out that he had THROWN THEM OUT THE WINDOW!!! He threw all of his clothes and his NIKE sandals out the window. I could have killed him. So, I stoll him into Sears naked and buy him all new clothes. Thank God I had an extra pair of shoes in the car and just stuck those on him. I went on into Sears and then to Walmart and on my way home I saw his clothes laying on the side of the road and I stopped and picked them up. I then began searching for his Nike sandals when I come upon on right on the double yellow line and here come a truck and it ran over it. Thankfully, Nike makes these sandals tough and it didn't even leave a scratch on it. I was able to recover the articles of clothing and his story of the day he threw his clothes out the window have become a local urban legend. My son, the stipper and the criminal for littering. So, if you see Leo and his orange shirt, that's the same shirt that Cooper threw out the window that day. The end.

First of all, so sorry Alexus is sick AGAIN!!!! And your boss is a clog!

And second of all, Cooper is the best!! When I was reading this story I just knew you were going to say you had forgotten to put clothes on him, better yet he threw the dang things out the window! bahahahaha That is the stuff urban legends are made of! :)

Love you friend and hope you have a great weekend!

That story is beyond great. I am trying to imagine what I would do in a situation like that and am totally coming up blank.

There is something wrong this time of year. My kids have been sick, like constantly, too. It seems like there is always someone sick right now, and I am tired of it. I think the doctor and and are on a first name basis now.

I love this story! I remember when it happened... we should have known then that Cooper was gonna be a handful!

And I gotta tell ya... I have been giggling over your cat-treed squirrel ever since I saw your pics. GO SALLY DOG! It makes it even better that you were scared of the squirrel.

Oh what a great story! Once #1 (when a toddler) tossed his shoe out the window, I was so mad at him, I grabbed the other one and tossed it out too! He started to bawl, and I decided it wasn't worth it to buy new shoes, so I went back and retrieved them.
