The title is a direct quote from my granddaddy to me last night. I felt a piece of my heart chip off when he said it to me. He was diagnosed with prostate cancer yesterday. His heart is broken and he is scared to death, as am I. He is a devout Christian and he also said to me "I know that the good Lord can take care of this if it be his will". Our family is very scared. We have been so lucky. I have had no family member on either side die from cancer or even have cancer. This is all very new to us. He goes on Friday for a bone scan and a CT to make sure it hasn't spread. Please pray that it hasn't spread. His treatment options are more limited than most due to his other medical problems. He has suffered a lot in his life and he so does not deserve to have to be dealing with this right now. Sorry to put all of this out there, but I'm doing so because I know that most of you who read my blog are spiritual people and we really need all of the prayers we can get. Thanks.

I'm sorry to hear this Missy. When Jason's Grandpa passed away last year of lung cancer we learned a lot. I hope things go smoothly and you are comforted. I know for us we felt better spending extra time with him befoe he went. I'm thinking our you.
What a cute grandpa! I'm thinking about you tonight and I will definitely be praying for your sweet grandpa and you! God is good and He is sovereign. He takes care of His own. I'm so grateful to know your grandpa knows Jesus. I'll pray for a peace that surpasses all human comprehension for all of you! Much love!
