Inspiration and Creation!!

For some time now, I have been wanting to redecorate my house a little. When we built it almost ten years ago, we went for serious neutrality and painted almost every wall khaki. What in the heck was I thinking? I am going to blame it on the fact that I was extremely pregnant with Alexus and clearly not thinking logically. In any event, here are a few changes I have made. Also, here are a few GREAT finds I have found at yard sales and/or at the Grandview Outlet store, which is a Target overstock sort of place. I love it!
We painted the bathroom blue. Love it! Check out the mirror that I only paid $25 for. Doesn't it match the bathroom tile perfect?
Here is the magazine with one of the inspiring pictures that got me in the mood to do all of this in the first place.

My dining room inspiration; however, I was not brave enough to pain my chandelier white. Just couldn't do it!

Only paid $3.00 for this body pillow sham!!!

$20.00 for this and I plan to put black and white pics of my kiddos in it when I find the time.

The wrought iron wall hanging was only $4.00 at a yardsale. Thank you to my co-worker for dragging my migrane hungover rear out that morning.

6.99 at Grandview and I LOVE IT!!!!

STill working ont his table. The yellow chickens were my great grandmas and the white chicken came from a different greatgrandma and the white candy dish from my granny. The blue vase-----$1.50 at the same yardsale and the silver candle holder .75 at a yardsale!!!

Real antique lace napkin .75 at an antique store. The silver bowl $6.00 at Grandview and the hot pink roses were $3.00 at the DOLLAR TREE!!! Not even going to tell you what I paid for the Longenberger salt and pepper shakers :(

Finished dining room. I know it looks like a big slice of key lime pie, but the official color name is Fiddlehead green :) I like it and that's all that matters.
My mother helped me paint the rooms, couldn't have done it without her and we didn't fight too much.

That does it! Now you HAVE to come to Utah and be my own personal decorator! I am a dork about interior design... my walls are plain white and B-O-R-I-N-G! So, when can you come???
